I am going to make this quick.  I just wanted to point out a little tip I just found in regards to adjusting sketch dimension in SolidWorks.   When the modify dimension dialog is open you can adjust the distance not only with the little arrows, but also by scrolling your mouse wheel.

Now, the amount that dimension changes in each step is setup up in the SolidWorks System options under spin box increments.  You will notice that you have the option to set a different amount for metric documents than with imperial documents.   Just so you know, adjusting this amount also effects the increments a dimension will jump to when you are using the Instant 3D feature and all other spin boxes in SolidWorks.
