SolidWorks unit Percision

Hi, I am trying to find a way to make SolidWorks display the .0 or .00 after a dimension. If I define it as 45mm I need to display the trailing zeros to convey the tolerance I need.

Jim,

The answer to that question is going to change if you are looking to make the change to all the dimensions or just one dimension.

To change the unit precision for a Single Dimension in a part or drawing, simply select the dimension while editing the sketch and then on the PropertyManager change the unit precision to the desired level.

  1. To change for all dimensions in your part or drawing, you will want to the change the document properties.

    1. Start by selecting Tools
    2. Then Options
    3. Next select the Document Properties tab
    4. Then select the Dimensions Option
    5. Finally change the Primary precision to your desired precision.

Jim, I hope this was a help.

Cheers,

Al
